Moore's Electrical and Mechanical is hiring for the position of a Controls Application Engineer. 

The position requires the ability to write programming for systems using Honeywell and JCI Controls Systems.

Some of the responsibilities of the job are as follows:

*Preparing specifications and drawings for special components and panels purchased from outside suppliers.

*Selects proper types and sizes of control products to meet project requirements.

*Prepares all request for information (RFIs) on pre-installation extras or change orders to submit to customer or general/ subcontractor.

*Read and understand HVAC equipment sequence of operations.

*Be able to also understand sequence intent in the given application. Read and understand project drawings and specifications.

*Apply given sequence of operations to "block and wire" programs.

*Deal with startup and commission controllers, including integrating them to Niagara AX/4 stations. Verify functionality of sensors and actuators and address any issues that may arise.

*Develop graphical user interfaces for end users based on project specifications and company standards. Provide owner training and support.

Some basic requirements of the job are:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred

-3-5 years of applicable experience, strong mechanical aptitude and any technical school training

-Have an understanding of electrical circuitry, construction environments and safe work practices vAbility to read and interpret architectural, electrical, mechanical and control drawings

-Must be highly organized and possess the ability to work in a high paced environment with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet the schedules given by leadership and demonstrate the ability to operate independently and autonomously and take ownership of all tasks.Excellent oral and written communication skills and team oriented.
